Biomodels are produced from the patient's CT scan data to provide a tactile representation of the patient's anatomy and condition.

They can help with diagnosis, informed consent, and accurate planning of the surgery sequence. They can be used to plan incisions and osteotomies and can be sterilized and used as an intraoperative navigation tool.

Clinical data show that biotemplates reduce total surgery time and therefore reduce patient exposure to anesthetics and blood loss.
